Waterloo Horticultural Society Bus Trip
Saturday June 10, 2023
$105.00/Member   
(If you are not a member, please add $12 for adult membership or $20 for a family membership to the ticket amount)

A Visit to the Niagara Peninsula Fruit Belt
Bus leaves from Bridgeport Plaza (Bridgeport & Weber St. near Tim Hortons) 7:30 am

Set within the breathtaking Twenty Valley, Ball’s Falls Conservation Area offers spectacular scenery and natural beauty. You will discover that Ball’s Falls has been lovingly maintained to its early mid 19th century industrial hamlet atmosphere featuring the original Ball family home, an operating flour mill, a lime kiln, a church, black smith shop, carriage shed, and more. Photographers and nature lovers alike will love the incredibly breathtaking view of the majestic Twenty Mile Creek as it plummets over both the upper and lower falls. The falls tumble delightfully over high cliffs and can be viewed at close proximity from above or below.
Lunch will be in Beamsville at the Butcher and Banker Pub where you will have the choice of three entrees, dessert, coffee, tea or soft drink.
In the afternoon we will have an outdoor tour of Vineland Estate Winery wine making facility, learn about their vineyards and their property history. We will allow time to visit the Wineshop after the tour.
After our wine tour we will visit Vineland Nurseries – “Special Plants for Small Spaces” Vineland Nurseries is a retail grower of dwarf and unusual evergreens, Japanese Maples, Rhododendrons and other rare & unusual plants.  Visitors are welcomed to peruse their extensive displays within a mature park-like setting.
Rain gear and sturdy walking shoes recommended.  You may bring boxes to store your purchases under the bus.  Please label with your name.

Insurance Waiver Form: I fully understand that participating in the bus trip may result in accidents, illness or injury.  I am voluntarily participating in the Bus Trip sponsored by the Waterloo Horticultural Society (OHA Club) with complete understanding of the risks associated with participating in the event.  I agree to hold harmless the premises owners and event’s sponsors, including the OHA Club, its affiliates, agents and employees, from all liability for any injuries and/or illnesses that may directly or indirectly result from my participation in the event.

Photography Waiver Form: I grant permission to be photographed at this event for promotional purposes of WHS without remuneration or liability.  WHS agrees to remove member photographs from the website or social media site upon request.
