Earth Day Challenges​
  1. Clean up your garden
  2. Plant something native
  3. Do without something for the day or an hour – car, computer, television, cell phone, light, etc.
  4. send an article to the newsletter, or post Facebook about Earth Day
  5. If buying takeout food, get it from a restaurant the uses recyclable containers
  6. use reusable bags when shopping
  7. Get involved as a volunteer
  8. become a member of an environmental group – like Waterloo Gardeners
  9. Plan an excursion to a local producer – Earth Day is on a Thursday so maybe a trip to the St. Jacob’s market
  10. Set up your rain barrels in your garden
  11. SET UP YOUR BIRD BATH IN YOUR GARDEN
